Protect access and prepare for temporary loss
Households depend on email and phones to reset passwords, approve payments and reach important records. Losing access to a primary email account or usual device can therefore affect several services at once. The National Cyber Security Centre recommends a strong, separate email password, software updates, two-step verification and backups of important data.
Reliant Forge will never ask you to store passwords, authentication codes, bank details or copies of identity documents in a Household Plan.
Your action: protect recovery of your primary email
Turn on two-step verification for the primary email account used to recover other important accounts. Check the provider’s recovery options and store any backup codes securely outside Reliant Forge and away from the device you normally use.
Never share a password or authentication code because someone contacts you unexpectedly. If money has been lost, contact the bank promptly and use the current official reporting route for your part of the UK.

Your Household Plan may record that an account-recovery arrangement exists and where your household’s own secure instructions are kept. It must not contain the credentials themselves.
